The food we serve at Little Sicily is much more than just a meal: it’s a journey that takes you straight to the heart of Sicily. Every dish we prepare tells a story of passion, tradition, and a deep connection to our land. Sicilian cuisine is born from the simplicity of ingredients, but it is enriched with flavors that speak to the heart, combining the best of nature and the history of this extraordinary island. Sicily is a place where land and sea come together in perfect harmony.
Our Cuisine
Every dish we prepare is a tribute to Sicily's humble yet heartful cuisine. Think of arancini: crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, stuffed with ragù, peas, and cheese, representing the simplicity of traditional dishes born to nourish and, at the same time, amaze. Our extra virgin olive oil, the fruit of Sicilian tradition and passion, is the ingredient that ties everything together, with its fruity note that enhances every flavor.
Eggplants, tomatoes, and zucchini, grown under Sicily's warm sun, shine in dishes that bring out the authenticity of the ingredients. The fresh fish, directly from Sicily's clear waters, carries with it the freshness of the sea, while Sicilian cheeses, like pecorino and ricotta, enrich every dish with their unique flavor, speaking of our land and its people.
Sicilian cuisine is a meeting of cultures, a fusion of traditions that come from the heart of the land and a passion for genuine flavors. Atmosphere
The atmosphere of our restaurant is a tribute to Sicilian tradition, with Caltagirone ceramics decorating every corner, telling the story and beauty of our island. And don’t forget about our team, always ready to make you feel at home, with sincere smiles and attentive care in every detail. But the true beating heart of Little Sicily is undoubtedly our mom Sonia, the “boss” of the Cantone family (because when Sonia speaks, everyone listens!).
The recipes we serve are the ones she taught us with love and a touch of authority, and every dish we bring to your table carries a piece of her spirit and dedication to cooking.
But like every family, Little Sicily is the result of a collective effort, with each of us putting a little bit of our heart into this restaurant. There’s my dad, the brilliant handy man, who has left his mark on every corner of the restaurant, even with the beautiful frescoes painted on the Sicilian cart, built by my brother.
Then there's Christian, my brother, without whom all of this wouldn’t have been possible, thanks to his hard work and love for our family. Riccardo, our young, creative spirit, has brought new ideas, imagination, and hope to every corner of Little Sicily. Pietro, our trusted pizzaiolo, has taught us the importance of life through his constant smile and finally, our little super manager, Aurora, who, with her smile and her young age, shows us that it’s never too early to make a difference.
